If your child needs to ride the shuttle bus to Irwin from either Manning or Manilla, please have them at the designated locations by 7:45 AM. The Manilla shuttle leaves from the west side of the Little Hawks Daycare Center and the Manning shuttle leaves from the bus loop on the back side of the school. If your child will ride from Manning, please drop them off in front of the middle school doors where adults will help them to the bus loop. Due to safety, no vehicles are allowed in the bus loop. Shuttles will return to Manning and Manilla around 3:30 at the end of the school day, but please be patient with this time due to road construction and the elementary students learning the bus procedures. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact the school. Thank you!

The IKM-Manning staff would like to invite the public to come see our buildings during the Back to School Open House on August 21 from 5:00-6:30 PM. We would particularly like to invite the public to see the extensive remodel of the industrial technology room, which happened in partnership with Manning Municipal Utilities in the Manning Building. Other updates in the Manning building include security improvements, continuing to resurface floors, and the addition of a gym. From 5:45-6:00, Jeremy Carroll, Manning Municipal Utilities Manager, will be talking with 9th-12th grade students who are actively enrolled in the Housing Project class and interested in learning more about the building trades program that will start this year. At 6:00, Jeremy is inviting the public to hear more about the building trades program and their plan to build the new housing addition in Manning. We hope you come check out all of the positive improvements that happened at IKM-Manning over the summer!

Good Morning! Here are a few announcements from the school. 1) The Back to School Open House for all students will be on Wednesday evening from 5:00-6:30 PM in both locations. C3 will be providing a hot dog meal to all families so please stop by and grab some food! 2) School begins on Friday, August 23, for all K-12th grade students. The first day of preschool is August 29. 3) The high school football scrimmage will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday evening and admission is two sport drinks. Go Wolves! 3). If anyone would like to donate school supplies to the school, please drop them off in the office of any school building. We can't wait to get the school year started!

This position would to monitor the safety and well being of students to and from the Irwin building. Aroa Sanchez, her husband, and three year old son will be moving to Manning the second week of August from Spain. She is teaching Spanish at IKM-Manning through the Exchange Visiting Teachers from Spain Program. The Sacred Heart Community Closet is currently collecting school supplies for their free back to school garage sale that will be held on July 27. If you are out shopping and want to buy school supplies for the event, you can drop your donations off at the Manning Public Library or Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manning anytime before July 27. The "Back to School" button is located on the far right in the line of icons and will be updated as more information becomes available. Online registration on JMC will be ready in mid July.
