We want to say "thank you" to everyone who got involved with the recent bond votes on our school issues. We're grateful for your interest and for making your voices heard through your voting.
In our school district, we've always worked hard to give our students a great education. Our teachers and staff do a great job meeting and even exceeding what you expect, which helps our kids succeed, not only in school but in life.
But now, we need to think about our school's future. This past November, we had a bond vote about how to address needed school improvements. Even though it didn't pass, there are still important things we need to take care of to keep our schools in the best shape we can for our students and staff. In that direction, the District is using its Local Option Sale Tax in order to build the second gymnasium, which many of you will have seen underway. We continue to look for different avenues to provide our students what we can while still managing district dollars, but some of the items on this survey may include questions about the second gym, and we still want to know your opinions.
We know that our school should reflect our community. That's why we're committed to moving forward in ways that makes sense for you, the people who live here, and most importantly, for our kids. So we need to hear from you about what you think we should do next.
We would really appreciate if you could take a few minutes to answer this survey. It is your chance to tell us what you think. Don't worry; your answers are confidential, and participation is entirely voluntary. We will share a summary of the survey results with everyone who is interested soon after the survey is done.
Your input will help us make the right choices for our schools and community. We are all in this together, making sure our students have a bright future.
We truly appreciate your time in answering this survey. The survey will close June 17th. If you plan to fill out a paper copy, please return it to the district office or send in the mail to the school address which can be found at the bottom of this survey. Paper copies of the survey can be found at Yesway in Manilla and Irwin, Shelby County State Bank in Irwin, Manilla City Hall, Manning City Hall, and the Manning Public Library.
Thank you for being a part of our IKM-Manning school community.
