The IKM-Manning School Board invites you to a public forum to discuss a possible general obligation bond in November 2023.  This will take place on Monday, July 17, at 6:00 PM in the IKM-Manning High School Auditorium.  The bond would once again be focused around facilities in the district.  The purpose of this meeting is to give the public the opportunity to give their thoughts and opinions on what the bond might look like on the November ballot.  School board members and administrators will be present to answer questions and facilitate discussion on these matters.  Those wishing to speak will have three minutes (the board reserves the right to limit or extend the time as needed) to speak their views on this possible bond.

“The IKM-Manning school district is excited to continue pushing forward in giving our students the best hands-on learning environment to prepare them for life after high school.  Improving our facilities is not only for the students but it is extremely important for our staff and faculty to have the tools necessary to provide an excellent education for all students,” says Board President, Luke Potthoff.  “We value the thoughts of everyone in our district and are excited to hear ideas about how we can come together to ensure our students are getting the best possible opportunities we can provide them.”

Those who are unable to attend this public forum can send comments to either Superintendent Trevor Miller at tmiller@ikm-manning.k12.ia.us or Board Secretary Mallory Meyer at  mmeyer@ikm-manning.k12.ia.us before the July 17 forum.  Following the public forum will be the regular July school board meeting in the IKM-Manning High School Library.
